LET'S HELP ST. ELIZABETH JAMAICA!
I am sharing a way that you can support some of the local people of Jamaica.
One of my very good friends, who is a medical doctor, Dr. Ama Tyus has a second home in Jamaica, in The Parrish called St. Elizabeth. This is the area where her husband is originally from. If you are following any of the news of how Hurricane Melissa has devastated the island, you would know that St. Elizabeth, Falmouth, and Westmorland and a few other parrishes have been severely damaged.
Dr. Tyus's husband, Al Scarlett, has put together a GoFundMe to raise funds to provide relief to families with resources to this area in order to start the rebuilding process.
Any help that you would like to give would be greatly appreciated. If you have been following me, you know that I have done retreats in Jamaica. As such, the island is near and dear to my heart.
Here is the GoFundMe link if you would like to give support to the folks in the St. Elizabeth Parrish. Of course, no amount is too small.
